Welcome to Marlowe & Christie, a vibrant literary society based in Cambridge, UK. We are a passionate community of writers and literary professionals who have inaugurated a series of prizes to celebrate outstanding new writing.
Our name reflects both our heritage and our enthusiasms: one of our founding members served as president of the renowned Cambridge University Marlowe Society, honouring Christopher Marlowe's dramatic legacy, while our society holds a contrasting but equally fervent admiration for Agatha Christie's masterful crime fiction.
We believe economic barriers should never silence talent.
